NSW: Casino workers strike over work conditions = 2

A Star City spokesman said there was nothing in the present agreement covering the
staff's particular concerns.

But he said some of the staff's claims were factual and others were not and management
was taking all concerns seriously.

"Those concerns have been raised with us and those concerns have been addressed," he said.

"We've given the union a response as to what we have done with those issues and we're
committeed to resolving those issues."

The spokesman said staff claims that 26 clauses had been removed from the existing
enterprise agreement was not correct.

"The union has agreed with us that a number of those clauses are redundant ... and
we need to make that agreement a lot tidier, a lot clearer for our employees to understand."
