Qld: Centaur hunters edging closer to prime search site

The Centaur expedition is expected to arrive shortly at the site where hunters believe
the wreck of the sunken hospital ship lies.

A group of scientists and explorers have been employed by the state and federal governments
to find the Centaur .. which was torpedoed off the Queensland coast by a Japanese submarine
during WWII.

Equipped with millions of dollars worth of sonar equipment the crew will search a site
30km east of Moreton Island.
